Broward County, FL — For A Better Day Foundation Inc. is proud to announce the elevation of two dynamic leaders to key regional roles: Wendi Gabriel as Vice President of Broward County and Laurie Stark as Vice President of Palm Beach County.
This milestone reflects the foundation’s continued growth and its deepening commitment to mental wellness, trauma prevention, and meaningful community alliances throughout South Florida.
Wendi Gabriel, a long-standing community advocate and change-maker, currently serves as President of Kiwanis Club of Pompano Beach. She also formerly held the role of President of the National Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs in South Florida. With a strong legacy of service and leadership, Wendi brings decades of experience in civic engagement, women's empowerment, and coalition-building. Her appointment as Vice President of Broward County will amplify the foundation’s presence in the region and foster inclusive partnerships that uplift and unify.
Laurie Stark, who has been a valued part of the
For A Better Day Foundation family, now steps into the role of Vice President of Palm Beach County after an impactful tenure as Director of Outreach. Her compassion, strategic insight, and unwavering dedication have made her a guiding force behind the foundation’s outreach initiatives. Laurie’s promotion is a natural progression, and her expanded leadership will continue to shape innovative, community-driven programming across Palm Beach County.
