What we do.
OUR SERVICES
Promoting awareness about what matters.
Our organization top priorities, the prevention of ACEs and Toxic Stress.
Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) are potentially traumatic events that occur in childhood and have been linked to:
-
Risky health behaviors
-
Chronic health conditions
-
Low life potential
-
Early death
Our organization's goals are to inspire and empower people with mental and emotional health challenges to regain strength, mend their minds and see a bright future ahead.
We envision a world where individuals with mental and emotional health conditions are respected for their strengths, interests and are provided with opportunities to have access to an effective support system, obtain and sustain employment, engage in recreational and community activities.

World mental health.
800,000 people commit suicide every year.
Mental health currently receives less than 1% of global aid. Domestic financing on prevention, promotion and treatment is similarly low.

The 988 Lifeline
988 is now active across the United States. This new, shorter phone number will make it easier for people to remember and access mental health crisis services. (Please note, the previous 1-800-273-TALK (8255) number will continue to function indefinitely.)
When people call, text, or chat 988, they will be connected to trained counselors that are part of the existing Lifeline network. These trained counselors will listen, understand how their problems are affecting them, provide support, and connect them to resources if necessary.
